Rechargeable Waterproof Dog Training Collar with M86 Collars

After the sticker shock of getting estimates from professionals, I decided to get this and do it myself. After a month with two dogs I can report the system is working flawlessly. It works just fine and I saved 1300 bucks even with the extra cost of buying an edger trencher. I do have some tips for other do-it-yourselfers. Digging the trench is a pain. After some trial and error I bought a WORX WGB96 12 Amp 7.5 inch Electric Lawn Edger and Trencher. Got it on for around 80 bucks. The serrated teeth chewed through 600 feet of my yard. The other pain is getting on your knees and trying to get that 20 guage wire in the narrow trench. I ended up using a 3 foot brake line from the auto store and stuck the wire through it and just walked along the trench with one end stuck in the ground. 100 times faster than jamming the wire in with a paint stick. Overall, I'm quite pleased with the system. Wasn't hard to set up and the instructions were easy to understand. Took my dogs 2 days to learn and won't leave the yard even with all the squirrels teasing them. I'm happy.
